SKU: U204The boiler probe is an essential component of a water heater exchanger. If it is damaged, there is a risk that the heating element will run dry. The probe must also be removed and cleaned during major maintenance; descaling alone is not sufficient in this case. A dirty boiler probe can overfill the boiler.
The probe is easily cut to size with sharp cutting pliers or a hacksaw. Always ensure that it is aligned with the probe you are removing.
It is supplied without a gasket; we recommend installing the probe with Loxeal or PTFE tape for a proper seal.
