2 copper washers above the element, underneath the nuts, help to secure the element more firmly. The element is supplied without the 2 O-rings; however, we often use 2 Teflon rings ourselves. The nuts have a pitch of 19mm; if you require a pitch of 17mm, you can order these nuts separately.
